Understanding Pro basketball with Apostle Dr. Terry Cumming on 7/30/20

Dr, Cummings played basketball in college with DePaul Blue Demons men’s basketball (1979-1982) and started playing professionally in 1982. In the 1982 draft, Cummings was chosen number 2 in round 1 by the San Diego Clippers. Cummings left the game of basketball in 2000.

Dr.Cummings played for the San Diego Clippers during 1982-1983 as well as the Milwaukee Bucks in 1984-1988. Later, Cummings played for the San Antonio Spurs throughout 1989-1994, the Milwaukee Bucks over 1995, the Seattle SuperSonics during 1996, and the Philadelphia 76ers during 1997. Some of the highlights of Terry Cummings’s career included: 2× NBA All-Star, All-NBA Second Team, All-NBA Third Team, NBA Rookie of the Year Award, NBA All-Rookie First Team, and Consensus first-team NCAA Men’s Basketball All-Americans.

Cummings set a career record of 19,460 (16.4 ppg) points, 8,630 (7.3 rpg) rebounds, and 1,255 (1.1 spg) steals.
