Height Athletics is offering a new program in Sports Business Management that trains practical skills for managing and owning a professional basketball team. In this program, prospective and existing Height GMs will also learn strategies to structure and grow their team to thrive.

SPORTS ADMINISTRATION

Height Sports Administration online program provides our students with a learning experience designed to equip them for leadership within the sports management industry of HIBA & WHIBA. With ever-increasing complexity and regulation, the arena of sports management needs strong leadership that understands both the human and corporate perspectives of the sports world. Height Athletics online courses combines the academic, practical and technical skills that are demanded in the sports management world with the values of a Christ-centered education.

GENERAL MANAGEMENT (GM) & SCOUTING

The Basketball General Manager and Scouting Course is an online course that offers cutting edge theories on how to develop a career on the business side of basketball. The Basketball General Manager and Scouting Course will cover issues including basketball operations, team management, scouting talent, player personnel, new age ways of scouting, traditional scouting, HIBA & WHIBA regulations, studying basketball on paper and other essential tools of modern general managers of professional and collegiate basketball organizations.

SPORTS REVENUE MANAGEMENT

The Sports Revenue Management Course gives you the skill set and competitive edge to distinguish yourself in the sports business field. Our goal is to assist you in working in sports. Upon completion of the course you will be thoroughly trained and ready to make a difference in the bottom line of any sports organization. You will be learning not only how to break into the sports world but you will be learning from people who do the hiring at those professional venues, teams and clubs. Their goal is to assist you with your career in sport. They will share their insights and expertise of how to succeed in the competitive world of the business of sports and how to stay at the top when you get there. What would you do to gain the added insights of years of sports business experience? They know who is hiring and when they are hiring.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Leadership Development Course seeks to build the body of Christ by building the people Christ calls to leadership. Our strategic outcomes are: Effective Leaders, Committed Stewart Leaders, Integrity in Leadership, and Kingdom Impact.

MARKETING COMMUNICATION

Introduction to Marketing Communications Advertising is an important element of the marketing communications mix. Put simply, advertising directs a message at large numbers of people with a single communication. It is a mass medium. Learn how to control the message, find your target audience, use appropriate resources, and identify success.

HIBA & WHIBA CULTURE

HIBA and WHIBA Culture Course will outlay the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church while leading.

SPORTS NUTRITION

The Sports Nutrition course teaches necessary concepts: meal frequency, athletic objectives, sound diet, and proper nutrition.

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

The Social Media Marketing Course instructs how to achieve marketing communication and branding goals through social entities like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more.
