Keeping healthy during covid-19

As most of us probably know it’s not easy to stick to a diet even when you can’t leave the house. Dieting and eating healthy all of the time is never easy, but it’s becoming more of a challenge for many of us during this pandemic. You would think that following healthy diet tips and sticking to a meal plan while stuck inside would be simple. But between the added stress of a global health crisis and the many ways life has changed, it’s not so easy. One of the reasons we find it hard to stay on track is due to the lack of structure we have at home. Home is the place where we are free to let go and be ourselves. We tend to do what we want, when we want, however we want. Here are some tips from Height Athletics to help you stay on track.
(1) Plan out your meals. Create a clear cut plan and stick to it. Create a schedule of specific times you want to eat, work out, and take breaks from working. Working from home can help you form new habits and actually help you stick to the healthy diet you’ve planned.
(2) Make the plan before you go shopping, not after. Remember whatever you  and it’s in the house you will eat it. Keep it simple, it’s about progress not perfection. Write it out, put it on the fridge, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, snacks as well for the week. You don’t have to stress over it, there’s enough going on already. Remember progress not perfection.
(3) Choose healthy snacks. Especially now because most people snack out of boredom. Go for a walk, read a book, meditate, do anything that doesn’t involve putting food in your mouth to cure boredom. We love you, stay safe and
God bless you all!!!
